How to block ads on Android phones without an ad blocker

If you’ve got a Nexus, Galaxy S2, or any other Android phone, you might think that you’re seeing ads because they’re there.

This is because Google and the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) are still working out how to remove ads on devices.

You can block ads by using a third-party app or a custom extension that blocks the ads.

That’s not to say that you don’t have to disable all ads, but it’s not like you’ll notice anything else happening with the ads you see on your phone.
