Android is going to get an update to 11.0.2, a new version of the operating system that includes Google’s Play Services and the latest version of Android security patches.
The news comes on the heels of the Android 10.1.1 update to the Android platform, which has been rolling out since March.
As of March 10, we’ll have to wait for the next major Android update to get a good look at the Android 11.
However, Google’s announcement has yet to mention any further details about when the update will be available, or how long it will take to get to us.
So, for now, it’s just speculation at this point.
Google is already planning to update Android 11 to the latest security patches for the foreseeable future, and while it’s not likely to go into full beta until later in the year, the latest news is another hint of that.
We’ve reached out to Google for comment, and will update this article with any response.
Update: Google has released the following statement about Android 11: Android 11 will go out to devices this fall, and we will keep you updated.
